Knee Tap Drill

Square off with your partner on the mat in your wrestling stance. When your coach blows the whistle, circle around and attempt to tap your opponents knee. You can go one step better and try to grab your oppoenents knee. Whilst attacking, you will also need to work your sprawls and arm blocks to defend against your partners taps and grabs.

 

This is a great drill for developing fast penetration of your shot. The drill also sharpens your defensive reactions and timing in order to defend shots and leg grabs in an actual match.

 

Time limit is upto you. 2 minutes is a suitable time and should get your pulse raised depending on how instense you are going at it!
